A Bikes Gearbox Oil is vital in keeping your transmission running

against wear and over heating. Making sure your gearbox is lubricated
correctly also ensures it produces maximum efficiency and performance.
There are two types of viscosity when lubricating a motorcycles gearbox:
- The same as the engine oil viscosity, which is known as a “wet clutch gearbox” as it actually shares the engine oil to lubricate the gearbox.
- A higher viscosity, as it's a separate gearbox so requires it’s own oil to lubricate the gearbox which is generally of a higher viscosity than engine oil
