HeatShield Thermaflect Hose Thermal Protection Sleeve 1.5" x 3ft Roll - With Hook & Loop Seam

This Thermaflect Hose Sleeve from HeatShield safely shields your wiring, lines, and cables from heat without disassembling them. Requiring a minimum of 1" airspace and good airflow, this sleeve acts as a thermal barrier capable of reflecting up to 90% of radiant heat away. 

It is ideal for use as a fuel line heat sleeve, on wiring looms, air intake, inter-cooler pipes, and air-conditioner hoses. By keeping fuel and air intake temperatures cool, it helps to prevent vapour lock whilst also improving performance and mileage. This process also reduces fuel evaporation and vapour lock.

Although this sleeve is lightweight (3ft of this sleeve weighs less than 6ft of silicone covered sleeves of the same diameter) it offers superior radiant heat protection, with the ability to withstand temperatures of 594°C continuously and 1093°C intermittently.

Caution: This product is electronically conductive. Be sure to insulate any terminals, wires or circuits that may come in contact with this product.
