About Castrol EDGE 5W-40 FST advanced synthetic engine oil
Edge 5W-40 is a synthetic technology lubricant suitable for use in petrol and diesel engines where the manufacturer recommends API SM/CF, ACEA A3/B4, ACEA A3/B3, ACEA C3 or earlier specifications. It is formulated to be compatible with modern exhaust after treatment devices and 3 way catalysts and is approved by a wide range of vehicle manufaturers.
The latest Castrol Edge engine oils feature what Castrol call "Fluid Strength Technology™". Castrol say that Fluid Strength Technology is a new dynamic system that actively strengthens the oil, continuously responding and adapting to your engine's every need even under the severest possible pressures.

We have carriage rates to UK mainland from as little as £1.99 (inc VAT) using our saver rate on orders less than 500g.
Standard UK mainland carriage is now a great flat rate of £4.99 (inc VAT) no matter what the weight (excludes some Highland post codes).
We also offer Royal Mail services to try and keep costs down to Northern Ireland, offshore islands, Jersey and Guernsey where couriers charge more.
We've kept costs as low as we can.

How long will it take to get my order?
When placing an order with Opie Oils, we'll do all we can to get your order to you as quickly as possible. The vast majority of items are held in stock and dispatched from our UK warehouse. UK delivery will take less than 7 working days (i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive), unless we contact you to advise otherwise. In 90% of cases, delivery is made well before this, and priority ordering is also available (Click here for more details). In case of Bank Holidays please allow an extra working day.
