Hammerite Kurust Rust Converter & Treatment

Hammerite Kurust is a fast-acting, easy to use rust converter treatment which stabilises and restores rust to a sound surface in just 15 minutes without the need to rinse off. It doesn't requite a primer or undercoat and can be re-painted or top coated after only 3 hours.

Although it has a multitude of uses, it is particularly ideal for stonechips, scratches and other small areas of rust. Other suitable applications include BBQs, fire surrounds, garage doors, metal doors, metal garden furniture, metal gates, metal railings and radiators.

Usage Directions:

• Clean the surface to be treated by removing any loose paint, rust, dirt, grease and salt
• Rinse the area with clean water and allow it to dry
• Shake the container well and decanter the required amount into a plastic container
• Apply Kurust directly to the rusty area by brush, working well into heavily pitted areas, corners and edges
• Avoid applying to any painted areas
• Kurust will turn blue/black when reacting with rust
• If the area does not change colour in 1 hour, re-apply
• Apply topcoat after 3 hours
