Special alloy heating and regulating coils provide the best performance from a metal glow plug with faster temperature rise than either SRM or QGS types. Strict pulse width modulation (PWM) control by the ECU allows long, high temperature post-glow periods, reducing engine emissions. Temperature rise time approximately 2 seconds up to 1000 degrees Celsius.
