Houghton Rust Veto FPN2 - Mineral Oil Rust Preventive / Protection
Houghton Rust Veto FPN2 is a low viscosity mineral oil based rust preventive formulated from carefully selected solvent refined base oils and incorporating special corrosion inhibiting additives to give long term protection to ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Application
Rust Veto FPN2 is designed for applications requiring up to twelve months indoor storage. Its fingerprint neutralising characteristics make it ideally suited for the protection of precision components with highly finished surfaces.
How to Use
Rust Veto FPN2 can be applied by brushing, dipping or spraying. For maximum economy in use and to ensure complete coverage, dipping has been found most satisfactory. After dipping components should be allowed to drain so that drag-out losses are minimised.
Removal
Rust Veto FPN2 can be removed from components if required with petroleum solvents from the Houghto- Clean 500 series, or by alkaline cleaners from the Houghto-Clean 200 Series. Details of these products are available upon request.
