Many branded header wraps claim they are able to withstand temperatures over 1093°C, yet they become brittle and fall apart all too quickly. HeatShield's Inferno Header Wrap solves the problem. Rated at a true 1093°C continuous, it stays flexible with a long life. You can unwrap the header when needed after hundreds of heat cycles - even after extreme temperatures have been reached. Simply put, there is no insulating header wrap on the market that will withstand higher temperatures and last longer.

The Inferno Header Wrap is made from silica fibre, which enables it to function in serious heat. It is soft, strong and flexible while operating at its designed continuous temperature of 1093°C. In fact, this wrap can withstand intermittent temperatures of 1649°C, making it the only wrap to use on your forced-induction or racing application.

When you insulate your exhaust pipe with thermal exhaust wrap it maintains hotter exhaust gas temperatures, decreases the gas density and allows the exhaust gases to exit the system via increased gas velocities. As a result, increased exhaust scavenging is produced. This literally pulls the intake gases through the cycle faster which lowers intake temperatures, increases horsepower and improves fuel efficiency.

As there is less heat radiating from the exhaust system this also keeps heat out of the passenger compartment and reduces heat damage to components.

Always wear safety glasses, a dust mask and gloves when handling this product. Long sleeves are also recommended.
