The Maypole MP56150 power inverter - 12V To 230V (1500W) - is hugely useful when travelling with electrical devices,  as it allows you to charge or power them for use.

The power inverter gives you this option by using power from your car battery to power other items, giving up to 1500 watts of continuous power. Simply plug it into your car's cigarette lighter socket and then plug in a traditional UK 230V AC plug to connect your device. It operates with a high performance cooling fan and has a low battery voltage alarm so you can keep an eye on your car battery. The inverter also provides automatic overload protection though you should ensure the power rating of your appliance is 1500 watts or less.
