Plug Type: Quick Glow System (QGS) Single Coil
The single coil type has a low resistance heating coil to allow very high initial current flow. The design of these glow plugs allows very short pre-heating times and improved starting performance but is only used in conjunction with a dedicated QGS control unit to regulate voltage or current flow. Temperature rise time approximately 10 seconds up to 900 degrees Celsius.
