Description:
Liqui Moly Pro-Line DPF Purge

Liqui Moly Pro-Line DPF Purge flushes passenger car diesel particulate filters after treatment with Pro-Line Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner, without removing the filter from the vehicle. It neutralises the cleaner and distributes the loosened soot within the filter so it can be burned off during regeneration.

Suitable for passenger car diesel engines fitted with a diesel particulate filter (DPF/FAP). Regular cleaning followed by flushing can help prevent deposit-related problems and avoid expensive repairs.

Application

Use with the Liqui Moly DPF Pressurised Tank Spray Gun (part number 7946) and DPF Probe with five interchangeable tips (part number 7945). Access the filter through a suitable opening, usually by removing its temperature or pressure sensor. The filter temperature must be below 40°C.

First apply 1 litre of Pro-Line Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner directly to the filter surface at 6–8 bar. Spray for 5–10 seconds at a time, pausing for 5–10 seconds between applications. Rotate and move the probe backwards and forwards to cover as much of the filter surface as possible, then allow approximately 15 minutes for the cleaner to work.

Flush with the full 500 ml of Pro-Line Diesel Particulate Filter Purge, using the same spray gun, operating pressure and spray intervals. Refit the sensor and have the workshop initiate regeneration in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s instructions.

Important: Where the filter is positioned close to the exhaust manifold or turbocharger, take particular care to prevent cleaning or flushing fluid from entering the combustion chamber through an open exhaust valve.

Benefits:

  • optimal engine performance
  • reduces operating costs
  • dissolves soot
