Lambda sensors are oxygen detecting devices that are fitted into the exhaust system of increasingly more internal combustion engines. They are a vital part of the emission reduction technology and also help to ensure that the engine is running at its optimum performance. NTK is the leading supplier of lambda sensors for original equipment manufacturers. The current assortment for the aftermarket comprises more than 7600 vehicle applications. Most of these come directly from original equipment and are always produced according to OE specifications. NGK Spark Plug Co Ltd was a pioneer in this field and is now a world leader in the development and production of lambda sensors under the NTK brand name.
