Fully Synthetic Engine Oil with PurePlus technology - Shell's ultimate protection for vehicle emission systems

Shell Helix Ultra ECT features its most advanced emissions-compatible technology that helps to keep diesel particulate filters clean to help maintain engine performance. It helps to reduce engine friction to provide enhanced fuel economy.
PurePlus Technology gives the oil a higher viscosity index, lower volatility, lower temperature property and better oxidation stability.

Shell Helix Ultra ECT's fully synthetic formulation uses Shell's most advanced emissions-compatible technology to help gasoline engine exhaust catalysts to keep diesel particulate filters clean and protects it from ash build-up that can block the exhaust system and lead to reduced engine performance. Shell Helix Ultra ECT can be used for modern gasoline engines, diesel engines with particulate filters and gas engines.

This product is unlikely to present any significant health or safety hazard when properly used in the recommended application and good standards of personal hygiene are maintained. 
Avoid contact with skin. Use impervious gloves with used oil. After skin contact, wash immediately with soap and water. 
Protect the Environment
Take used oil to an authorise collection point. Do not discharge into drains, soil or water.

We've tried to keep all other shipping costs as low as we can.

Carriage starts at just £0.95 (inc VAT) for small items, with our most common courier rate set at £5.99 for orders of 5kg (enough for 5 litres of oil).

  • *Free shipping is available for UK Royal Mail, UPS Access Point™ (click & collect) and standard UK courier services (not express / priority / islands).
  • Courier surcharges mean we are unable to offer free "to the door" courier shipping from us in Cornwall up to Highlands / Grampian in Scotland - and because we send a lot of liquids, not every courier option is available to us. UPS Access Point™ (click & collect) is available as a free shipping option across Scotland, Wales and England, wherever there is a UPS Access Point™ Location.
  • Carriage charges are based on weight - please see our table of carriage costs for full details (although adding an item to your cart and viewing the calculated carriage is often easier!).
  • Priority shipping is also available.
