This Thermaflect Cloth from HeatShield is a heat shield cloth capable of reflecting 90 percent of radiant heat when used in applications where there is 1" of airspace and good airflow.
Featuring a high-temperature peel-and stick adhesive along with a high-quality, mirror-like finish, this shield will adhere to almost any clean surface and weighs 40% less than comparable thermal reflective aluminised fibreglass cloth products. The combination of its mirror-like finish and lightweight construction will blow the gold vinyl sticker stuff away with its reflectivity.
You can use this product as a heatshield under the hood on a fuel cell, on aluminium intercooler pipes or for the air-filter box, or turn your aftermarket intake into a real cold-air intake!
Please note that this self-adhesive version is not recommended for rough, unfinished fibreglass or carbon fibre.
