Description:
Hella Reversing & Warning Alarm 112 dB(A) (3SL 996 139-251)

This Back Up Alarm (Ref. 3SL 996 139-251) from Hella can help to prevent accidents in dangerous and unclear working and manoeuvring situations, especially in commercial vehicles which have limited rear visibility. The flush mounting of a backup alarm is required by law in some countries for such cases.

The warning tone is generated whenever the reverse gear is engaged and road users are warned of the vehicle reversing in good time. With a piercing warning tone, this system ensures additional safety for all road users and features protection against reverse polarity and voltage peaks.

Hella supplies these backup alarms in different volumes to meet the requirements of different working situations. For example, alarms with a volume of about 90 dB are usually used in city traffic, whereas alarms with a volume of 100 dB are usually used on a noisy construction site. Just 3 dB more in volume is perceived twice as loud by the human ear.
