Glo-Leak 1234 is specially formulated to mix with both HFO refrigerant R1234yf, as well as with R134a, R456a and the different lubricants used in mobile A/C systems. Just as additional special processes are required to produce compressor lubricants which are miscible with R1234yf, the same is true of this new Glo-Leak formulation. Like the R1234yf lubricants, Glo-Leak 1234 is backward compatible with R134a and other refrigerants. Because of its low dosage rate, Glo-Leak 1234 will not adversely affect viscosity of the host lubricant. The base oils have been chosen for their compatibility with R1234yf and R134a as well with as the PAG and POE lubricants specified by vehicle manufacturers. With our unique combination of ingredients, and with no added solvents, the Glo-Leak Pure UV range is engineered to give the brightest fluorescence with all common refrigerants, to any A/C lubricant when scanned with a good UVA or UV+Blue tracer lamp. That means you can add a smaller dosage to the system. For best results use a Primalec UV365 or UV400 tracer lamp.
