These Summit Exterior Probationary Period Plates (P Plates) are fully magnetic.  They are now supplied in a eco-friendly printed paper sleeve.

P plates are typically displayed on the vehicle to identify that the driver is inexperienced or has recently passed their driving test. This helps other drivers and law enforcement officials be aware that the driver may not have the same level of experience as more seasoned drivers.
