Gates PowerGrip Timing Belt Kit (K015712XS)

This Gates Powergrip Timing Belt Kit (K015712XS) contains all the parts required when changing the timing belt - in addition to the timing belt itself - and is suitable for a range of Dacia, Mercedes, Nissan, and Renault vehicles.

The timing belt (also known as the cambelt) connects the crankshaft to the camshaft. The timing belt ensures the rotation of these parts is synchronised and controls the opening and closing of the engine’s valves. A timing belt needs to be changed in accordance with vehicle manufacturer’s recommendation – usually every 60,000 miles or 5 years.
