Liqui Moly Lead Substitute

Liqui Moly Lead Substitute is a novel blend of additives, which has been formulated for engines with non-hardened valve seats, designed for running with leaded fuels. Lead Substitute ensures that these engines can be easily converted to run with non-leaded fuels. Lead Substitute gives non-leaded fuels with the corresponding octane numbers outstanding valve-seat lubrication properties, as well as having a cleaning effect on the mixture preparation system. Lead Substitute makes exhaust emissions less harmful to the environment.

Areas of application

For older petrol engines without hardened valve seats that originally required leaded petrol according to the manufacturer’s specifications.

Application

Mixing ratio 1:1000. 250 ml Lead Substitute is sufficient for 250 litres of non-leaded fuels. Under and over dosing must be avoided. Suitable for vehicles with retrofitted catalytic converters.
