Apec Coolant Thermostat with Gasket (ATH1836) Fits: Mercedes

The Apec Coolant Thermostat with Gasket (ATH1836) is supplied in OE matching quality and has been thoroughly tested for accuracy and endurance to maintain the superior quality of Apec products.

A car's engine runs at very high temperatures, leading to overheating and compromised vehicle performance if your engine cooling system is faulty or stops working altogether. Thermostats are a vital part of the engine cooling system, designed to use an expanding wax to open and close according to temperature levels. By opening a valve when exposed to heat, a thermostat allows the engine coolant to flow from the engine to the radiator, reducing its temperature.

Thermostats from Apec have been built using advanced manufacturing practices that allow them to effectively regulate the temperature of engine coolant, providing a powerful aftermarket solution for maintaining optimal engine temperatures.

Apec ensures Thermostat quality by manufacturing at an ISO 9001:2015 accredited production facility. All Apec Thermostats undergo a variety of tests to guarantee product quality such as visual and dimensional analysis, hardness, spectrometry, temperature checks, and tightness and leak value tests.

A market-leading specialist in supplying reliable components, Apec is a brand you can trust with over 50 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket.
