Synthetic, environmentally aware general lubricating and EP gear oils

PLANTOGEAR S oils are environmentally aware industrial gear oils that contain special synthetic esters with high resistance to aging, good loadcarrying capacity and excellent wear protection. PLANTOGEAR S oils offer a high micropitting resistance and have been successfully tested in the FZG mechanical gear test rig. PLANTOGEAR S products have good sludge suspending and transportation properties. Results of the FE8 roller bearing wear test confirm that they provide reliable lubrication of roller bearings.

Application:
PLANTOGEAR S products are used in spur-, bevel-, planetary- and worm-gears, especially in environmentally- sensitive areas. They are also used to lubricate drive assemblies in water conservation areas, where ground and surface water could be endangered by oil leaks. The PLANTOGEAR S product formulation contains synthetic highperformance esters, which allow the products to be used in applications where normally synthetic lubricants, based on polyalphaolefin are preferred.
