API GL-3 Gear Oil

The API GL-3 gear oil specification was introduced by the American Petroleum Institute (API) for manual gearboxes under moderate to severe stress and spiral-bevelled axels under moderate conditions and load, these oils contain up to 2.7% anti wear additives. API GL-3 is NOT recommended for hypoid gears.
